My Story

My awakening began one day while running, when a voice told me – “We’ll take care of the hands and you take care of the rest.” At the time I was in a state of anxiety and stress – not sleeping well and stuck in a loop of negativity from some toxic relationships. I felt a sense of desperation because I knew my thought patterns, relationships, habits and behaviors weren’t serving me, but I didn’t know what to do about it. While these issues had been accumulating over time, I continued to get stuck in similar cycles of chaos and disorder, hoping that some day I would just be different, and my problems would go away.
If you always do what you’ve always done, you’ll always get what you’ve got.
– Henry Ford
When I received my message while running, I had never even heard of reiki or tarot. Once I started listening to my intuition, I discovered reiki, and spiritual helpers kept entering my life through serendipity and synchronicity. The more I acted upon these occurrences, the more guidance and opportunities I received from the universe. But the healing journey is not for the light-hearted.
In seeking union with the Divine, we are asking to have all physical, psychological, and emotional “illusions” removed from our lives. Once this process of removal begins, we awaken an internal voice of authority that immediately begins to compete with every external authority in our lives, which can throw us into internal turmoil.”
– Caroline Myss, Ph.D, “Anatomy of the Spirit”
Much of my turmoil stemmed from experiencing an eating dis-order in my youth. In shamanism, there is a belief that “soul loss” occurs when we lose a part of our soul essence, and it doesn’t come back unless we retrieve it through shamanic journeying. In my journey of reclaiming my inner child, I discovered that when we leave the root of our turmoil unresolved, it just shapeshifts and transforms into different attachments that keep us seeking external “illusions” to fill an internal void. I’ve had to re-parent mental and emotional patterns and reactions when life gets difficult. I’ve recognized how every relationship in my life reflects an aspect of me. And I’ve learned how to listen to my body through the wisdom of my chakras.
We each have unique soul lessons, but I believe we all share the purpose of learning how to love ourselves.
If everyone did, our world would be a much different place. Negative self-talk is one of the worst things we can do. When we practice forgiving ourselves and others, we develop more compassion and empathy. The healing path begins with forgiveness and being truthful – especially when acknowledging painful truths about ourselves. When we release judgment of ourselves and others we create space to give and receive love freely. We create space to Shine!

I’ve always been a spiritual seeker. However, attending organized religions always felt like trying to squeeze a square peg through a round hole. It never quite fit. My intuitive gifts as a Dreamer and a Rememberer of ancient ways were like dormant seeds that began to grow when I watered them with my own unique blend of tarot, meditation, journeying, imagination, creativity, and yoga. I’ve always gone inwards in difficult times, because I never knew a kindred sense of community with like-minded, open-minded people growing up. While our life’s lessons are ours to learn, WE DON’T HAVE TO DO IT ALONE.

My intention is to be an active leader in growing an open-minded spiritual community that provides support for all aspects of health…Melding Body, Mind & Soul Vibrations.
